The problem

AI regulation arrived. Compliance processes didn't.

Most organizations don't know exactly which AI systems they're running. The ones that do often rely on annual audits, a point-in-time snapshot that is outdated the moment the report is signed.

In the meantime, Québec's Law 25 came into full force and its AMF set a May 1, 2027 deadline for AI governance, the same date OSFI's E-23 takes effect federally. Privacy regimes across the rest of Canada, PIPEDA, BC and Alberta PIPA, Ontario's PHIPA, tightened alongside them, and the EU AI Act began applying extraterritorially to any organization whose AI systems affect European residents.

The compliance gap isn't a lack of willingness. It's a structural problem: there are no continuous tools built specifically for Canadian AI regulation. Until now.

Veille discovers your AI systems, classifies them against the applicable regulatory frameworks, evaluates each obligation article by article, and monitors for changes automatically.

When a regulation changes, affected systems are re-evaluated within 4 hours. When a gap is detected, Veille drafts a remediation plan. Every action is logged, hashed, and stored in a tamper-evident WORM vault with SHA-256 hash chains, ready for audit at any time.

Why I built Veille.

"I built Veille because I watched organizations spend more than $200,000 on a single annual compliance sprint, then spend the following twelve months hoping nothing had changed. It always does."

Compliance is not a project. It is an operating condition. The tools organizations use should reflect that reality. Veille is built in Montréal, for the Canadian regulatory context, by someone who has lived the problem firsthand.

Serge leads product and go-to-market. He is joined by co-founder Stefan Wakata, Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa and co-founder of Kobe Corporation (custom software built with AI). Stefan leads engineering and the platform.

We encode obligations article by article, not framework by checkbox. A shallow implementation is a false sense of security. Veille's value is in the precision of its coverage.

Honesty about limits
Veille reasons on the evidence you provide. It does not replace legal counsel for novel interpretations. We are explicit about what Veille covers and what it does not.

Canadian sovereignty
Your compliance data is stored in Canada (Montréal), and LLM inference is migrating to AWS Bedrock in Canada for full Canadian residency. For organizations subject to Law 25 and OSFI, residency is not a checkbox. It is a requirement.
